Due to the increasing risk of armed robbery and piracy in many parts of the world and in particular the High Risk Areas, the IMO has issued MSC’s, recommendations and guidance to reduce the risk of such incidents. POLARIS can provide additional services which meet these recommendations to assist the company and the vessels that may have to pass through High Risk Areas, these services additionl to onboard security, include:
- Counter Piracy security assessments for High Risk Area (HRA)
- Vessel Hardening advice on additional security measures to counter piracy attacks
- Regular piracy Intelligence briefings
